International Max Planck Research School - IMPRS

The doctoral programs of the graduate schools of 'Neural & Behavioral Sciences' and of 'Neural Information Processing' are associtated with the Max Planck Society and hold the status of an International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS), named ‘IMPRS for Cognitive & Systems Neuroscience’.

International Max Planck Research Schools have become a permanent part of the Max Planck Society´s effort to promote and further train doctoral students. Talented German and international junior scientists are offered the opportunity to earn a doctorate under excellent research conditions. A shared characteristic of all graduate programs at Max Planck Institutes is a close colloboration with the local universities.
