It gathers researchers from the neuro- and cognitive sciences, psychology, linguistics, computer science, geo-information systems, and mathematics. It addresses common themes and problems in the employed models of space and spatial representation. Topics include cognitive models of space and spatial behavior, geometry and graph-theory in space representation, neural networks and machine learning approaches, the role of spatial language, and the ontology of space and object representations.
